ASG Cebu in Dumaguete September 12 2009.

When it comes to out of town trips the guys are always psych out.
Everybody was prepared for the trip for the married guys they ask permission 2 weeks prior to the trip and there are some that were unlucky. Too bad guys better luck next time.
There were 5 vehicles on convoy from Cebu City to Bato and it took us about 3 hours give or take.
I cant forget seeing the guys faces when we arrive at the bato to eat for lunch.Music to my ears hehehehehe
The barge from Cebu to Dumaguete is about 30 mins.
The sad thing is the roads in Negros is under construction so we were just driving in 40kph cruising speed it quite getting used to but we still arrive in our place of accommodation which was nice and they had a pool.
Saturday night we went out to grab some beers and after a night of drinking we went home to prepare for the game on Sunday.
The game site was called forest camp I was there before shooting a client for a prenup but the place was different it was no longer a place of solitude but a war zone.
ASG Dumaguete was very accommodating.
The game was intense and fun we still won.
I wish we have Out of town games every month....
Can't wait for the next out of town...

Here are the pics from the trip....

ASG officers in Baghdad.

We had a photo shoot last month for the new officers of ASG Cebu.

All of us prepared for the shoot, we made sure all of the guns and equipments were authentic and same as the gear that were issued to the soldiers in Iraq.

We had Humvee that is use in real battle field.

At 5am everyone was already ready, We chose to shoot in the morning because of the perfect lighting.

The location we chose was precise to our chosen theme.

The shoot was perfect everyone made sure the outcome of the images were realistic and exact to what we imagined it to be...

We are not only good in the battlefield but we are photogenic as well.

Weekend Warriors

This guys may look like real soldiers but they have day jobs.
They are what you call weekend warriors.
We play the game to simulate war games and some are just adrenalin junkies.
Playing the game is just like playing Counterstrike but the real thing.
Instead of holding a keyboard and a mouse your holding a gun.
The game is very exhilarating especially when someone is shooting at you and you feel the adrenalin pumping.
Best things in life are free hoowah.
My experience in playing this started way back in 2002.
Before then guns and gears were expensive and hard to purchase but now China came to the market with cheap guns and gears..
But you just need to ask around which best brand or model will fit your need and budget.
Its much affordable now and anyone can play the game.
Once you have the equipment you just need to find a group to guide you to the right path.
This game is all about honesty, camaraderie and teamwork.
Think of this as your weekly outlet, something to expect every weekend.
The first Airsoft group here in Cebu is the ASG the group started in the early 90's.
Now the group expanded nationwide..
We have out of town games were we visit other parts in the country to play with other ASG chapters..
But now there are big tournament held in Cebu one example is the Governor Gwen Garcia Airsoft Open and the biggest in Cebu.
The tournament is held on neighboring provinces.
Not only help the players but helps the town as well by bringing in local tourist.
Once the tournaments starts the whole province will be filled with airsoft players.
Airsoft players helps the local commerce of the province..
There a lot of things I can say but I suggest you try it for yourself.
All I can say once you get hooked your hooked for life.
